Description
Here you'll find a number of options that govern the behavior of your dwarves.
The descriptions of each follow.
Outdoors
You can determine which dwarves are allowed to go beyond the cliff face into the wilds.
Cancellation Announcements
The game announces when jobs fail, unless you don't want to hear about it.
Some of these announcements are important, while others are just incidental.
The default setting is good for most purposes, but if you find it intrusive, change it here.
Gather Animals
If you'd like to temporarily stop your dwarves from considering animal haul jobs, do it here.
Gather Food
If you'd like to temporarily stop your dwarves from considering food haul jobs, do it here.
Gather Furniture
If you'd like to temporarily stop your dwarves from considering furniture haul jobs, do it here.
Gather Bodies
If you'd like to temporarily stop your dwarves from considering burial haul jobs, do it here.
Set Refuse Orders
Here you can set refuse orders, with a few categories.
Gather Minerals
If you'd like to temporarily stop your dwarves from considering stone and ore haul jobs, do it here.
Gather Wood
If you'd like to temporarily stop your dwarves from considering wood haul jobs, do it here.
Harvesting
By default, all dwarves help with the harvest, even nobles. This is to prevent the loss of food. If you feel
you have the situation under control, you can set only your farmers to harvest.
Food Mixing
By default, dwarves will put all meats in a "meat barrel" and all plants in a "plant barrel", for example. If
you'd like them to separate foods out more specifically, you can do that here.
