0010079: Caravan and immigration (2 waves) only first year
The first two (hardcoded?) immigration waves show up and the dwarven caravan comes the first year, but after that... nothing. No caravan or message for caravan in the autumn, and "Your fortress has attracted no migrants this season" every time. Humans and elves show up depending on the game.

1) It is not a matter of wealth or amount of dug tiles.
2) No deaths to either starting dwarves or first caravan.
3) Has happened every single game through several updates and system purges. First cropped up in 0.43.03-r02, kept doing it in -r04 and -r09 (current).
4) I could not figure out (even with instructions) on how to check legends, but I serious doubt it's civilization extinction. (No declaration of King/Queenship).
5) I did get one Queen in a fort I quit just before problem started.
6) My population cap is unchanged from vanilla (though changing it does nothing).
No idea. It happens in literally every single game I try and play. I've tried screwing around with the basic world gen (size, history, etc.) and the story is always the same.

1. You are running an old version of Dwarf Fortress - try again with the latest version to ensure that Toady hasn't already fixed the problem.
2. If you're going to report bugs, don't use DFHack unless you can prove conclusively that none of your active plugins or scripts are responsible for the problem.

There are now *two* population caps; have you verified that both are set above your current population?
