0010349: Were-dwarfs stuck in weird spot between injured and healed
I have a dwarf that was infected by a were-zebra shortly after embark. He was taken to the hospital, but didn't have treatment finished before shifting shape for the first time.

He now has "no health problems" listed under health status, and is not resting, is not being brought to be to rest, and no doctors are attempting to treat him. Yet at the same time, he still has injuries listed under the "Treatment" tab, such as his arm and foot needing immobilization and his wrist needing traction. Thus, he is unable to move or to do anything.

Right now he's just idling in the hospital, unable to move at all, even when put into a squad and ordered elsewhere. He can't starve or die of thirst due to healing when he transforms. Yet he doesn't get rid of the required treatment whenever he heals. This has been going on for over a year in-game.

I can confirm this issue, though eventually by recruiting him he left from his stupor.

Initially I thought it was because I had enclosed him in a room and his AI had not updated he could leave but now I see it should be the same issue you had.

I uploaded a save for this, I HOPE I'm doing this right:

http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=13222 [^]

(As a further note, this is saved at a point when the werebeast in question was transformed, and after this, I had a problem with said dwarf constantly interrupting other dwarfs, even in dwarf form, so apparently they twigged on to the fact that he was a were and avoided him? Unless this is another bug.)

Could maybe hurting him bit more get him out of this weird state?
