0010617: Diplomat does not leave fortress after export agreements finalized.
I got my first outpost liaison in my new fort. Everything was going fine until I angered the merchants by requesting too many supplies. They left, but the outpost liaison remains, with his status saying "This visitor comes for diplomacy and to relax".

The same save has pathfinding issues which have lead to a death, will make separate report for that.

Are you aware that the diplomat has come for diplomacy and to RELAX? It's normal for the diplomat to remain until just before the elven caravan (potentially) arrives in spring. They might even stay a bit longer than that.

Usually entertaining the outpost liason well is assumptively (citation needed) contributive to your tavern's reputation, which might draw more guests that aren't naturally ultra-curious from in-range but further away civilizations but only when they eventually leave.

Relaxation isn't a fixed term event unless it undergoes changes at some point, but it may be understandable if its percieved that they remain within the fortress for longer than the player is comfortable with.

Ah, that makes sense. This definitely is not a glitch, then. I do wonder why he'd want to stay in a fort rapidly approaching famine, with no means of recreation other than discussion, but I guess Armok works in mysterious ways.

Agreed; diplomats visiting after their official meetings is presumably intended behavior.
