DescriptionGame crashes violently upon controlling a creature (I have used bronze colossi and iron men), pressing z, then d(escription).
Steps To Reproduce1. Load Mod Testing Arena
2. Create Bronze Colossus or Iron Man.
3. Control Said Creature
4. Press z
5. Press d
6. Crash with prejudice

Nope. Followed your steps exactly. I get a description of myself and no crash. Tried both Iron Man and Bronze Colossus. Windows 10, DF 44.12.
You'll have to upload a save as something's going wrong on your end. Are you using any mods, something like TWBT, which often crashes adventurer for example?

Heh, Iron Man is 'greatly moved by art and natural beauty...'

Huh. I'm completely vanilla and the crash is 100% consistent. This is on my HP Pavilion "HP 15-cs0051wm"

Something went wrong in downloading maybe? Does the same thing happen if you download again and start from scratch? Just to confirm, you're getting vanilla 44.12 from Bay12games site, right? (Sorry for the totally obvious question, you'd be amazed how many people say "vanilla" when they mean "starter pack"...)

Seems that mine wasn't crashing because I was playing full-screen. Windowed, it crashes.

Hmm, that was some ancient text parsing code. I updated it, but that'll affect 60 different places, so we'll have to keep our eyes out for some odd behavior elsewhere now.
