Summary | 0010981: some features are apparently not shown in site finder, might be hidden by others |
Description | For example, if you check site A, it will show it has deep metals. If you check site B (adjacent to A) it will not show deep metals. If you make the landing area big enough to include both A and B, it will NOT show deep metals.
The same applies for trees. Site A is a woodland, site B has no trees, site A+B has no trees.
|
Steps To Reproduce | Generate world.
Restrict to 1x1 site.
Find two adjacent locations where in one the a feature is existing and in the other it is not existing (e.g. metals and no metals, or tree and no trees).
Enlarge the embark site to include both features.
Notice the features are shown as not existing. |

As someone on the Imgur post commented, the embark screen only shows features specific to one biome at a time. When you have selected two or more biomes on the map, you can switch between biome information with the F1 key, F2 key, F3 key, etc., as shown on the bottom-right of the third image when you had selected both Tropical Shrubland and Tropical Ocean on the map (labeled as "View Biome"). This is working as intended. |

|
As stated, switching which biome is shown with F1, F2, and so on should show the "missing" features again. If somehow they don't appear after all, please reopen this report or message a bug tracker manager on the forums. |
