Winter has arrived on the calendar.
It has started raining.
Loaded region1, Kar Tharith (The Dimension of Hurricanes) at coordinates (11,46)
Loaded the fortress Othsinerib (Bowgorges), colonized by the group Bomrek Amud (The Whip of Thundering) of the civilization Eral Matul (The Vessel of Dancing).
Erush Mengkoman has cooked a masterpiece!
Zutthan Menglolok, Bard is visiting.

Seconds after the bard visit is announced the game crashes.

I run the game using the Lazy Newb pack but I tried opening the save in vanilla DF with the same results. I also had someone else attempt to load the save.

It's most likely yet another case of the raiding crash bug (0011014). The military equipment Gloves specific equipment list has "Words: Natural Or Suprntrl?" as its last entry, and that's most likely an artifact "book".

The only known way to avoid DF crashing is to disband all militia and never create any new ones, which means you'd be completely unable to take any offensive actions against any threats.

Dies in ~50sec on my end, without squads goes past 2mins, recreated squad kills the game immediately.

Retired and unretired the fortress and it works again mostly.
