0011250: No stockpile selection for Altars
Altars don't appear to have a space in any type of stockpile, most notably the ones that make the most sense like furniture or finished goods. Corollary to this is that Altars also can't be placed from the build menu, they don't have a unique placement option and they aren't in any submenus. Any time an altar is crafted, it never receives the "TSK" indicator next to it, despite every stockpile being placed and having available space and it stays in the workstation that it was crafted in until dumped.
In all forts that have been created to test features, ranging from pocket to large and across various different timelines, none of the forts had a stockpile that would accept Altars.

I tried a few other things and when I specifically linked a furniture stockpile to the workshop that held the altar it was hauled. I will try more experimenting to see if this is a niche case where the stockpile has to be linked or if I can recreate the scenario in another way.

Altars are stored in the finished goods stockpile, but I too couldn't see a way to build one.

Yeah, they are stored like hives now, which as 'tools' (finished goods) or 'other large tools' (furniture) don't yet have a type distinction, due to how they are defined as tools in the raws. So techinically this is working, I think, but it should certainly go by named item type instead and I'll leave it open.
