0000221: Making leather waterskins actually produces no-material flasks
In a leather works, add some "Make leather waterskin" jobs.
The actual object that get made is a "flask" with no material qualifier at all.

Similar but not the same, though. I had this problem too. Ordered 10 waterkins and instead got 10 flasks(3). They have no material and the dwarves assigned to use waterskins carry them.

here with screen, its a troll leather waterskin... or was, military have then 3 flask withou material in invetory

Is this one still happening in 0.31.10+? The fixes for 0.31.11 wouldn't fix it, but I can't get it to reproduce either. A save that reproduces the "flask" (before the job is completed) would be almost certainly enough to get a handle on it.

Yes, this is still present in 0.31.10.

This save is freshly generated by 0.31.10 on Linux. I just created a new pocket region, embarked with some leather, then made waterskins.

The leatherworks just completed a "make leather waterskin" job, and there are 3 no-material flasks in it. There is a second job that will be completed shortly after loading that will create another 3 no-material flasks.

Confirmed on Windows Vista as well. If oliver's save isn't enough, I can upload one also with the exact same situation - cow leather turned into just 'flask' and there are other 'make leather waterskin' jobs queued at the workshop. This was a fresh 0.31.10 generated pocket world.

Still present in 31.12? 31.11 fixed metal flasks, so I thought I'd check.

I retested the save linked above against 0.31.12, and it now seems to be working OK; so I guess the 0.31.11 fixes did fix this after all.

Okay, I'll mark this one off for 0.31.11. I retested again and couldn't make it happen.
