0002344: Masons idling despite pending Wall constructions that go unassigned
Problem: Jobless masons + construction jobs without masons doing them.

I don't know why, but I've noticed a lot of my constructions (walls, floors, fortifications) just never get handled, despite periodic lulls in activity (30+ idlers, including some masons).

Wanting to force the issue, I disabled all other tasks for my masons and canceled all jobs in the masonry shop queues. Result: masons with No Job, and the constructions just sit there unconstructed. I have vaguely noticed this for a long time, at least in the last two versions but probably before, but I figured I just had too many jobs pending and it was falling to the back of the job queue or something, but it's clearly something more than that.
Not sure. Nothing quick and easy. Build a whole bunch of walls, assign a bunch of other tasks, play for a while, and notice only a certain percentage (half? two-thirds? a third? hard to tell) get built, while the other stay in a seemingly-permanent "Needs Masonry, Construction Inactive" state.
I have a save available with this going on. (Actually, this has been pretty pervasive, and the last two saves I've uploaded for other reasons also have this problem going on.)

Never mind. Cancel this; my masons were in a burrow. I don't think they were in the past when this seemed to be going on, but that may have indeed been just jobs at the far back of the queue.
