Summary0002358: Engraver masterpiece message with (apparently) no masterpiece
DescriptionI recieved a message saying that my engraver dwarf had created a masterpiece. I could not locate this masterpiece over the small area being engraved.

Did he have other skills enabled and possibly was working a at shop to produce a masterpiece instead of engraving?

Did you perhaps confuse his name with someone else?

Did you just not find the masterwork engraving?

I paused the game immediately after the message appeared and went to him where I had assigned a room to be engraved. He had already engraved one masterpiece, so that was there, but I found no new masterpiece. He could not have been doing anything apart from engraving.

Please write down the engraver's name, backup your save, abandon the fortress, and look up the fortress in Legends. Near the bottom should be the names of any masterpieces that were created.

What happens if you select the "has engraved a masterpiece" announcement and zoom to it?

I'll have to apologize, I don't have this save anymore, but when I had tried to zoom it did nothing.
