This is very important - what type of mood was it?
Possession moods don't give any experience. You can check in the gamelog what the specific mood was. For possessions, it'll read something like "XXX has been possessed!".

It writes all events in txt file, which is not automatically cleaned, AFAIK.
So you can look up the event there. |

The file to search is gamelog.txt, in the main DF folder. |

You could also scroll through the announcements, but I'm not sure if they still go back to the beginning of the fort or not like in 40D since there seems to be a bit of wierdness with the announcements and how long they stay on the announcements page. At least for the arena anyways.
At least they'll be in the gamelog.txt, so just do a search for a key word, such as mechanism. |

You are correct, dwarf was possessed and I didn't realize possessed dwarved didn't get XP. Issue can be closed, sorry for wasting your time. |
