Summary0003119: Cannot make toys (besides rock) from Craftsdwarf's Workshop
DescriptionThe task list for the Craftsdwarf's Workshop contains the following options:
* rock -> crafts, mug, instrument, toy
* wooden crafts
* rock weapons
* wooden ammo
* bone ammo
* decorate with bone
* decorate with shell
* decorate with ivory/tooth
* decorate with horn
* decorate with pearl
* make totem
* make cloth crafts
* make silk crafts
* make shell crafts
* make ivory/tooth crafts
* make horn crafts
* make pearl crafts
* make bone crafts
* make leather crafts
* make bone armor
* make shell armor
* extract metal strands

Nowhere in this list is it possible to make wooden cups, wooden instruments, or wooden toys - the only way to add these tasks is via the job manager.

In 40d, both "rock" and "wood" had submenus containing the options for crafts/mug/instrument/toy; in 0.31, the "wood" submenu seems to have been replaced with the lone "wood crafts" entry.

Even though the "wood" submenu has been readded in 0.31.19, it is lacking entries for mugs, instruments, or toys. They can still be added via the job manager.

Kogut: not really - the only problem here is that they're not showing up in the workshop's Add menu. It's still possible to make them - you just need to use the job manager.

Debian 7.5
uname -a:
Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.57-3+deb7u2 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Process:
1) Fresh unpack of Dwarf Fortress 0.40.02 SDL from http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/df_40_02_linux.tar.bz2 [^] [EDIT: this was a Linux test, not Windows]
2) Create new world (World Size Smaller, History Short, all other options default).
3) Start New Game, immediately press "e" to Embark, then ENTER to Play Now.
4) Dismantle wagon, build Craftdwarf's Workshop.
5) Confirmed: "Make wooden instruments" option not available through workshop.
6) Set Dopey as Manager noble.
7) Press "j-m-q" to add New Order.
8) Type "MAKE WOODEN INSTRUMENT"
9) Confirmed: "MAKE WOODEN INSTRUMENT" option is available.

Repeat steps 5, 7, 8, 9, except with CUP and TOY. Same results.

* The instrument portion has been made moot by the 42.xx randomization of them.

* Wooden cups are now available on the crafts workshop (ALT-g) as of the same version.

* The only portion left is that wooden toys cannot be made (or any other type besides rock) at the crafts shop directly.
