0004122: All invaders dead, siege still listed as active, no caravans
First siege that came the goblins killed some sort of goblin leader or diplomat, I suspect diplomat given that they still have leaders listed in the civ screen. The squad that killed him stuck to the edge of the map where they had entered. I killed them years ago, their compatriots have fled, new sieges have come, yet the siege tag has never lifted and I've not seen hide or hair of the caravans. Currently no living invaders on the units list. Immigrants will still show up.
No idea.
It wouldn't annoy me so much if this weren't the first version of the caravan arc, hence I've got a bunch of moody dwarves and mayoral requests with no billion and such.

Did you catch any of the invaders in cages? Is it possible there are squads in areas you can't see?

I did cage a few, the cages, and goblins were then atom smashed out of laziness. They're showing as dead in the unit screen, or at least one of the ones I caged is now.

Okay, and I've marched units through all the surface looking for hidden guys I didn't see anything. Presumably from your question I should check the caverns in case anything spawned there that was part of the siege. I'll check that and report back.

Nope, goblins, with blizzard men as their big guys, not that blizzard men can knock down doors. Had a couple of elven caravans, but they've stopped with the siege. Three or four forgotten beasts and some crundles down in the caves, no goblins. Killed off the forgotten beasts, much Fun had, siege tag still up.

I've got this, too. The siege flag stayed on after the invaders left. I thought that breaking a second siege might reset it, but no luck. Advice on the forum is to use Runesmith to resurrect and re-kill invaders, but I've had no luck with that. This is a real game-breaker, because it means no more migrants and no more caravans. The children are really my future now.

Edit: Runesmith did show a group of trolls flagged as Active Invaders and Incoming. Maybe the invasion hasn't stopped yet because all the invaders never arrived?

OK, here's the workaround: In Runesmith, show dead creatures. Find any dead creatures still flagged as active invaders. Un-check incoming and dead. They should re-appear on the map. Killing them again clears the siege flag.
