0004380: Stockpile options don't work for cloth
Dwarves put cloth bins in stockpile regardless of stockpile options.

They don't sort bins with cloth (silk)/cloth (Yarn) / cloth (Plant) options.
It's as if it was the same option : cloth(all types)

ex : Rope reed cloth bin put on a stockpile with only cloth (silk) active
Put cloth bins on the floor (remove stockpile under it)
build 3 stockpiles (1 with only cloth(Plant) acctivated; 1 with only cloth(Silk) acctivated ; 1 with only cloth(Yarn) activated)

Unpause.

Dwarves will move bins in wrong stockpiles
I haven't tested it yet with thread or metal cloth (currently no thread in fortress).

The save would probably be helpful, yes. http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^]

I have a same issue, and tested it. Piling all cloth in one stockpile, creating 6 stockpiles for silk, plant and yarn for thread and cloth. Then dumping all to garbage, destroying original and reclaiming all gets funky results.

Silk, plant and wool threads in silk threads only pile and same thing with cloth.

I noticed a funny thing with cloth stockpiles too - if you import a game from one of the previous versions, then the cloth stockpiles don't let you pick metal strands. Or it is a Mac (has the bug)/Windows (works fine) thing.

Same issue for me. Thread and cloth can be separated but the material types are jumbled together.

Also, thread from "hair" should be separated out as well.

Still here in 34.10. Thread will separate from cloth, but types of cloth won't separate. I can dump all of the silk cloth, turn off silk cloth in the cloth stockpile, make a new cloth stockpile for only silk, and reclaim the dumped silk cloth. It all gets put back into the original (closer) cloth stockpile.

Confirmed to still exist in 34.11

Also to note, dwarves won't fetch cloth from a bin to put it in a stockpile that forbids bins. If the only cloth stockpile I have has bins set to 0, dwarves will only move newly produced cloth to the pile, they will not fetch it from the bins lying around without stockpiles.

Has anyone figured out how to sort by dyed/not-dyed?
