0000445: Native silver + stone crafter -> large native silver
I was letting my stone crafter make crafts out of metal ores and native metals, and when I chose "Move goods to Depot", there was a "Large Cut Gems" category, even though I hadn't cut any gems. Looking in the bins that "Large Cut Gems" selected, I saw a few items named "large native silver", and viewing their description said "finely crafted".
Have stone crafter make crafts out of native silver.

Might warrant a child issue, but I've had adventurers stumble across several varieties of large stones in caves, including a large native platinum.

Is it a bug? Unless someone can confirm this happens even to worthless stones or ores that need to be smelted, this looks like a clever feature. I can definitely imagine someone carving a big, nicely shaped piece of silver or platinum and calling it a jewel or craft.

I'm guessing this is another problem with native ores using METAL_TEMPLATE. In this case, it might be caused by a material having both METAL and IS_STONE, although I don't have a clue why the game logic would care about that.

Applies to Raw Adamantine also.

I doubt the bug in this report managed to cause that. You should probably open a separate report, unless you have mods that are causing the problem.

Reminder sent to: Khym Chanur

Does this still occur in 0.31.18?

With 0.31.21, I've made a bunch of stone crafts from native gold and native copper, and none of them ended up as "large native [metal]", so I guess this bug has been fixed.
