0004452: Good regions NEVER have flux
I'm...not entirely sure if this is a bug or intentional, or a side effect of something I'm not seeing. It's related to a bug I just posted in the sense that the site finder is erroneously showing there is flux when there's not.

Basically, I set my site finder to this :

Site finder : Flux - Yes. River - Yes. Shallow Metals - Multiple. Deep metals - Multiple. Soil - Deep. Clay - Yes. Evil - Low

Also, Aquifers are coded off (not turned off in the site finder)

Several shrubland, grassland, and desert 'Good' regions will be given. None of these will have flux - ever.
Search

Site finder : Flux - Yes. River - Yes. Shallow Metals - Multiple. Deep metals - Multiple. Soil - Deep. Clay - Yes. Evil - Low

Pick an appropriate 'good' spot based on this, use prospector, see there is no flux on your list of minerals.

News flash: dfprospector does not show flux layers.

If you don't want to use dfreveal and spoil everything, there is a better clue that does not involve dfhack at all: check z -> stones, go down to economic stones. If there's a non-reserved flux stone, it means that there's a whole layer of that stone.

I've noticed this since this report, but even with using reveal, I've yet to find a good area with a flux layer.
