Summary0004978: Beekeepers always have 0 experience
DescriptionFor some reason you can't accrue beekeeping experience? First of all I've noticed everyone who arrives with beekeeping on, even Beekeepers, has 0 experience at it. Then I went into Dwarf Therapist to disable all beekeepers who haven't done any beekeeping yet, and I found out they all had 0 xp, even though I've had plenty of bees for a year...

What's up with that

Do you actually have any beehives? Are they capturing bees, re-hiving them, splitting hives, harvesting hives, that sort of thing?

Edit: to clarify, they won't get beekeeping experience from works that don't require that skill. Just to make sure that you're reporting what I think you're reporting.

This is probably a Dwarf Therapist bug. It doesn't show beekeeping experience correctly. The game never shows experience points in numbers, only the skill level.

Yeah, it could also be a DT bug. Rather than reading the EXP off of DT, please just check if the stat level inside Dwarf Fortress changes (from nothing, to dabbling, to novice).

OK my apologies I do have an Accomplished beekeeper (rusty). It must be a bug in DT.
