Does this still occur if you disable TrueType and/or change the PRINT_MODE?

Yes, disabling TrueType fixes the problem, so we can put this down to "yet another TrueType problem." I don't suppose at the moment there's any way to fix it and still use TrueType?

Baughn, not sure if you can do anything about this one, but it is TrueType-related.

Fixed (by Toady) by removing gray_out_rect, which is only used in that one place and conflicts with TTF.
