0005894: Rollers sometimes keep working even when powered off
I built a long west->east roller along a track that led straight to a series of upward ramps (which were too steep), and after a short while the cart would start rapidly swapping between the ramp tile and the roller tile. Even after I turned off the rollers, the cart would continue bouncing back and forth as if it were being powered.

If I send a dwarf to walk over the oscillating cart, it quickly gets beaten to death; upon deconstructing the rollers, the cart finally stops moving and can be safely collected.

I just tried again, and even if I place a new cart onto the unpowered rails (and ensure that there are no orders to move the cart), it still accelerates down the track on its own.

And IMHO, that amount of rollers should be capable of pushing the cart up that ramp: otherwise there is not much point in them really, because on level ground dwarves appear to push a cart with enough power it should be able to cross an average embark from side to side. If nothing else, maybe rollers placed directly on a ramp should push the cart up with constant minimum speed, so that at least it does go up.
