0006485: Crashing when I try to load!
Every time I try to load my save game, DF crashes after about a minute of trying. I have moved the file over to different computers and even tried redownloading DF and tried different saves. Those saves work fine and it's always this save file that crashes when trying to load. When I saved, the game was in the middle of a rather intensive fire going on in my game if that may have anything to do with it.

Here's the link to the save file: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=8567 [^]
1. Open DF
2. Select "Continue Playing"
3. Load save game given above

Your saved game is completely and irreversibly corrupted - the first 11 megabytes of world.sav is valid (and decompresses to about 178MB of valid data), but the remaining ~25MB is completely blank.

Have you been using DFHack (or any other memory-modifying utilities)? If you're using DFHack, are you actively using any plugins (e.g. workflow, diggingInvaders, autobutcher, etc.)?

At the time of the save, no I was not. I only recently installed DFHack and haven't had any problems with saves before or since.

Nothing we can do unless you find a way to reproduce the corruption process.
