0006860: After severing a neck, the head-neck chunk is labeled as "neck" instead of "head"
If you target a neck and it is severed, the only body part severd is the neck - somehow the head continues attached to the body.
Hit someone in the neck with a slashing weapon, severes it, triy to find the severed head
It is a old bug, tried to find a related but it looks like it was overlooked.

It may just be a naming problem. The game may call it a neck, but it probably has the head attached. Other body parts do the same, but it is more correct in the naming sense for them.

Yeah, you may be right, hadn't think this way. Even then, I think it should be more clear

He's right, even though the gib is called a neck the head is still attached to it.
If you butcher it you'll still get a skull and a brain, and if a necromancer raises it you can see the head and its affiliated parts as attack targets.

I never actually encountered this. And severing the neck is the primary attack for most of my adventurers.
