0007170: Troglodytes get stuck while climbing
Some of the older wildlife has just stopped moving. This ranges from birds that are caught in midair to a troglodyte in the caves. It isn't all animals though as I just had a giant rat run amok.
It happened after I killed a number of Drunians.

Yes, he is currently climbing 3 Z levels up, if that is important.
There is also a giant toad sitting still in the water.

In the previous release we could usually see a lot of wild animals running around in packs... Now I almost never see animals on the map, and hunters have nothing to hunt after they kill one or two creatures that were on the map during embark...
Creature list stays the same for years...

I'm also having issues with stuck trogolodytes.
I have 4 stuck in one tile in the air, with one tile of open space between them and the ground and walls on 2 sides.

It seems this bug and other bugs related to it completely stops a lot of possible FUN. (Megabeasts, Sieges, Ambushes, Snatchers).
In my opinion this bug isn't minor anymore.

I created a new world and deleted all birds, I think it will run much smoother.
Update: Took two seasons for a bunch of moth men to get stuck up in the air, everything's frozen again. Best guess: [FLIER] Tag broken.

As stated above, this bug affects swimming creatures as well. The same group of Magma crabs has been stalled out in the magma sea for the entire run of my fortress (9 years). (I also had stuck flying and climbing creatures until my military "forcibly migrated" them.)

Can confirm this with fish (carp and milkfish in particular).

Edit: And yes, something is up with the [FLIER] tag, but that's a different report: 0006737
