Summary0007344: Unable to brew plump helmets / unable to toggle "brew" in status->kitchen
DescriptionI have empty containers (barrels, pots), I have 80+ plump helmets, I have dwarves with the brewing, plant gathering, and plant extraction labours enabled..

I cannot brew delicious dwarven wine. I have not tried with other plants, I have not been able to brew at all in this save, though I have in previous saves on this same version.

I am having the same problem, despite having containers and plants available. I too am also trying with plump helmets/wine only, I haven't tried with others.

Another note: I think the problem lies in the fact that I have 42 or so plump helmets available and they are all being kept in the same barrel. When that barrel is picked up and used to gather plants (plump helmets, etc) then it cannot be used to get plants from for brewing and the job is cancelled.

I noticed that the raws are messed up, and copying over some lines from the normal raws to the plump helmet raws in his save made them brewable again. What did you install that messed with the raws?

(I also noticed that a LOT of things in his save have the wrong symbol and sometimes color, which indicated something messing with the raws.)

I had no trouble brewing plump helmets, but it was helmets that I brought with me on embark, rather than ones I grew. I was also able to toggle their brew status.

I have installed no mods. I have a creature texture pack and a tileset but I only edited the init files for those.
edit:I am also not using burrows
Which raws do I fix and how?

It seems the problem lies in the fact that I just extracted the new version over the old version.

I hear this is bad so I just re-downloaded the game and restarted. Sorry to waste everyone's time! =D
