Summary0008255: Engraved slabs mention no deatch cause. The slain creatures always 'went missing'.
DescriptionIn my current fort I engraved slabs for memorial kills. The slabs are put into the tombs of their killer military dwarves.

However, all slabs do not mention the exact cause of death, rather they show simply 'went missing'. The military dwarves correctly get attributed for their kills.

This happens with all types of victims: were-creatures, minotaur, goblin, dwarfen goblin fighters, and one human vampire diplomat. I did not test whether this also happens with own dead dwarves.

This is a duplicate of 0007864, which was marked as duplicate of another report 0005110. I do not believe this issue is a duplicate of 0005110: all involved dead units are properly marked as 'Deceased' in the unit list.

In the future, you can PM a manager on the forums to get a report reopened, rather than opening a duplicate report.
