0008724: Evil rain in a neutral-savage biome
I embarked in "untamed wilds" (only one biome), and I'm getting "It's raining repulsive ooze!" about three times a month. It has only actually rained rain I believe once in the year I've been playing.

I haven't noticed any other signs of being in an evil biome. No odd grasses or sliver barbs. No zombies or other undead beasties. Then again, nothing's died except those critters that were butchered. (Can butchered meat turn zombie? Terrifying thought.) But in an older version (I forget which one) I embarked in a "terrifying" region and got undead elephants - that fort didn't last long. So I assume undead can wander in just like other critters. Haven't seen that in this fort. Just your normal to savage critters.
You can have one of my save games if you like. I've rebooted from the initial save about three times (I'm testing reaction mods. I'm very bad at it.) and this keeps happening, so I'll assume whatever is odd is captured in that save.
No tags attached.

Did you embark near to an evil biome? There is some 'leakage' if you are right on the edge, I believe.

Please reopen with a save if 0004310 (a tiny wedge of evil biome causing announcements for the whole map) doesn't explain it.

This is not about the constant rainfall. It's about evil rain on a not-evil map. Different issue. Not near the edge of an evil biome either, I don't think, though I wasn't looking for that sort of thing when I embarked. Will from now on, though.

Initial save at http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=10430 [^]

Did a tile by tile search of the whole map. No evil-only flora on the surface.

@Teres_Draconis: If you are not exactly sure what is near your fort you can check it this way:

Copy your region folder somewhere, retire your fortress, start again in the same world in Dwarf Fortress mode and during that embark site selection you can see what is around your current fortress. After that, quit game, remove current region save folder and put your old save one with unretired fortress back. See http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Saved_game_folder [^] for more about save folders in DF.

Consolidating this to 0008781 since most the investigation is there.
