0008944: window size simply doesn't work
I got a brand new mac, so I installed dwarf fortress on it. When I started it, it told me I needed to get an X11 package, so I got the package it suggested.

When I start Dwarf Fortress, the screen is 1/4 the size of the window. If I resize the window, it goes all Uristy on me. The game starts drawing into the titlebar, and never takes up more than 1/4 of the window. It does play the music fine though, and is readable. I didn't try creating a world, assuming if the title menu doesn't work, nothing else will work either.

It happens with or without hitting f12.

I installed XQuartz 2.7.7.

Buy a new macbook pro.
Install dwarf fortress
Install XQuartz 2.7.7
Attempt to play Dwarf Fortress

That sounds like 0006031. The notes on that issue include a workaround that should help. If you find this to be a different issue, please reopen the report or PM a bug tracker manager on the forums.
