0009057: Minecart crash causes contents to teleport through solid rock
A minecart colliding with a wall emptied some of its contents onto the floor and the rest 3 tiles away through solid rock with no path.
I believe what happened here is that a fire imp somehow made its way into the fort and interrupted the dwarf guiding the cart (Vutok Morulsemor). He then let go and it propelled him into a wall a z-level down. Meanwhile, the minecart itself stopped and emptied itself. What's odd is that while some of the contents dropped onto the floor below where it stopped, most of it actually ended up inside the cavern - it seems to have teleported through two squares of solid rock. There is no path into the cavern (I breached it on Z-160 and sealed it off with a wall). The goods inside the cavern should be visible when you load the save, on Z-160. The goods in the fort are one level below and the hapless hauler's body is further south. (Also, his neck seems to have been severed, but I can't see his head anywhere.)

Probably not interrupted actually - it turns out I still had one departure condition set to ride, which is incredibly dangerous with this track.

The meat of the report is a duplicate of 0005996. The goods ended up flying when the speeding cart struck the incoming wrestler and "teleported" to the place where they would have landed in unobstructed flight after the first turn.

The destroyed dwarf wasn't the hauler - the cart must have been released by the "guiding" dwarf after they got drafted to the military (moving carts is civilian-only; a dwarf will insta-cancel all civilian labours silently when drafted); if anyone rode or pushed a cart down that track it'd arrive empty.

The save is a good example for how 0005996 can look and also verifies the bug as still existing in 0.40.24.
