0009198: Crash shortly after embark
I created a new fortress in a new world, and it kept crashing not too long after embark. I eventually saved the game at a point where it crashes every time almost right away.
1. Download save at http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11355 [^]
2. Load saved fortress.
3. Unpause game.
4. Wait until it crashes.

I can reproduce a crash in your save.

Maybe a duplicate of mine: 0009146, seemed to crash at a different part of the program tho, but im not an assembly guy.

Someone tried to mark mine as a possible duplicate of the calendar crash but these crashes are happening after that?

Are you using any third party tools or is that vanilla DF? Have you tried cancelling all jobs or other such things to made it not crash?

It appears to be fixed in 0.42.02.

It was vanilla, and all 7 dwarves were idle.

Thanks for the follow up.

All of these random in-play crashes that now appear to be fixed as of 42.02 will be grouped as duplicates of 0009132.
