Summary0009854: Missing VS2015 runtime libraries - MSVCP140.dll, VCRUNTIME140.dll, etc.
DescriptionThis is new to this version, it does not happen with .43.03.
Steps To ReproduceThis was observed on a freshly-extracted copy of df_43_04_win_s (The No-Music Windows distribution).

Thanks for the link; however, I don't think that's meant to be a requirement for playing DF. If it is, there should probably be a note/link to that effect next to the DF download links on the main page.

I did not have this issue on my desktop, but did with the laptop. Installing the latest redistrubutable (the x86 version) solved this.

Ack. I haven't had the chance to try that test version, especially since the laptop had no recurrence of this issue when I snagged the latest redistrubutable. ._.

I'm pretty sure Toady fixed this in 0.43.05, given the lack of reports since.
