Summary | 0010246: Issue with accelerated wear in camps not actually fixed
Description | Recently was making an adventurer and building in a camp sited a good ways away from a tomb I recently looted. So while up to that, I noticed a problem with the chest of loot I snuck out with... https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/173881820322988040/320737180827910145/unknown.png [^] Nearly everything organic in the chest was damaged after a day or two of building. It has gotten cold enough to freeze the stream at night, but I'm a bit leery of it having actually reached under 9900 temp. It's spring, not too close to the poles, and there are still nights where the stream doesn't freeze.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Get some assorted cloth and wooden crafts. 2. Leave them out on the ground. 3. Build stuff. 4. ??? 5. Profit.

What's the original issue you're referring to? |

I've been trying to find it, searching through issues seems to be a massive pain in the ass when it didn't used to be. Case in point: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/173881820322988040/321328994199011328/unknown.png [^] EDIT: Still nada. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/173881820322988040/321329838495498240/unknown.png [^] |

AHAH, I had to go to a different screen and search from there. Issue was most likely: http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=9735 [^] Just in case I'm gonna mod the cold damage points of the wood and cloth templates to never suffer cold damage, just to rule that out. |

Okay, I...just in case I shoud've disabled the heatdamage point, but. The heat damage point of wood is above the boiling point of water, and I will note that the logs being left out are curiously unaffected by this damage, yet the bin and all organize contents have taken damage from just the time taken to cut down a few trees. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/173881820322988040/321339875477422082/unknown.png [^] |

Hmm. Fuck it, just in case I'm re-testing with heatdamage point set to none as well. |

AHAH. Doubly AHAH this time. I modded wood and all thread templates to not have any cold or heat damage points, went out with a chest of junk, set it down. After cutting down 2 trees, this is the result: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/173881820322988040/321343752641970187/unknown.png [^] It seems consistent, damage starts after second tree cut down, logs appear to never be affected, and items seem to only ever be at first level of damage. |

In your screenshots, you're limiting results to issues that you reported (Reporter: chaosvolt - it's the first option). Search queries can stick around from the last time you searched, so I recommend going to "My View" (http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/my_view_page.php [^]), clicking "Recently Modified", and searching from there. Is it fair to say this is related to 0009735, but not furniture-specific? |

I got to that screen via clicking "View Issues" though, which USED to allow me to search issues in general, I could've sworn. If i wanted to do that I'd have clicked the As for the issue itself, it seems to be, yes. Which is weird, that was resolved several updates ago. |
