Summary | 0010596: Corpses/Refuse are automatically forbidden.
Description | Lots of corpses and refuse lying around, with open stockpiles and idle dwarves. Checking the stocks screen shows the items forbidden. When un-forbid manually, a few seconds later they are re-forbidden. All refuse hauling is good, and no burrow issues.
Additional Information | changing modes in stocks screen and un-forbidding doesn't work.

Any mods or DFHack scripts running? The report is unlikely to result in anything unless you provide a save that demonstrates the issue. Saves are typically submitted here http://dffd.bay12games.com/submit.php. [^] |

Completly vanilla DF. http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=13534 [^] Please excuse the dwarf names- my friends make some terrible suggestions. |

Under Standing Orders -> Refuse, you have toggled your dwarves to auto-dump everything but shells. Consequently, when non-shell refuse is available, your dwarves haul it to your garbage dump zone and "dump" it (marking it forbidden). Manually unforbidding the refuse simply repeats the dumping process. If you want your dwarves to place the refuse in stockpiles instead, you'll need to toggle them back to "save" (a.k.a. stockpile) in Standing Orders -> Refuse. Note however that the previously-dumped refuse is sitting in a refuse stockpile so your dwarves will not "spread it out" into other empty stockpile space (but they will stop dumping-and-automatically-forbidding it). |
