Summary0010597: (V)iewing certain points on my map makes my game crash.
DescriptionBasically, if I hit V and pan across the map, at a certain point the game will always crash. Currently I have a migrant wave, and trying to view the migrants as they come in prompts the crash.

The Save is available here:

Steps To ReproduceLoad my save, hit v, pan across the map.
Additional InformationI am using the Lazy Newb Pack, but with no other mods.

I was able to (v)iew all the migrants in your save without a crash.

Are you using TWBT? That mod has been known to cause occasional cursor movement crashes, and is enabled by default in some starter packs.

This morning I checked, and I did have TWBT set as default on my starter pack options. Disabling it, I was unable to reproduce the crash, and it was pretty reliable previously.

Funny thing is, when I then re-enable it to try to better narrow down what exactly I was viewing that caused it, I still was unable to reproduce it.

So maybe this was a bugged install, possibly due to me changing graphics packs without 'resetting' TWBT.

Thanks for the help on an individual level at least. Back to digging out bedrooms for the new migrants!

This tracker is for vanilla Dwarf Fortress bugs. Problems with mods (including TWBT) should be reported to the mods' maintainers.

This was probably https://github.com/DFHack/dfhack/issues/1057 [^] , which was fixed.
