Summary0010653: Human town with empty pedestals
DescriptionCreated a demigod human adventurer in a completely unmodded game. The throne room I started in has a bunch of pedestals with nothing on any of them, and center of the bottom floor of the temple to the north of the human castle also has a room with empty pedestals.

Pedestals are a new addition for the latest version of DF. They're for putting artifacts on (by adventurers and npcs). It's a bit strange, but I don't think it's a bug that they're there waiting for something to display.

If the pedestals are all empty, it simply means that the local government or cult doesn't possess any artifacts to put on them.

Should be marked as no change. Pedestals/display cases are present in all structures that can store artifacts, regardless of whether there's an artifact or not. Adding to that, only furniture artifacts are stored this way. Other artifacts are left on the ground or held by their owners.
