Summary | 0011728: Corrupted save locks the UI in fullscreen |
Description | I have a corrupted save that locks up when it gets to loading the units. If I load it with the game fullscreened, the UI just freezes up completely - I cannot leave fullscreen, I can't alt-tab. If I load it with the game windowed I get "One of the compressed files on disk has errors in it. Restore from backup if you are able." in a dialog box.
I assume the underlying problem is that the dialog box is being hidden under the game in fullscreen mode. |
Steps To Reproduce | Load the save at https://spikycaterpillar.com/misc/region2.lockup.tar.bz2 [^] in fullscreen mode. |
Additional Information | This may be a window-manager-specific issue; I'm using fvwm. I'll file a second report for the corruption. After clicking OK on the dialog box the game quits with a segmentation fault. I have disabled the libs/libstdc++.so.6 that ships with df because it conflicts with the system libGLU. |
