|Description||Edit: Dumping water on the hospital zone using DF Hack resolves the initial crash.|
Dwarf Fortress crashes 100% repeatedly with unknown trigger. I have tried removing all dwarves from squads and removing all squads and the crash still occurs. I have also tried removing all jobs from all workshops and clearing out pending Job Manager jobs and the crash still occurs.

I can reproduce the crash. But for the life of me I don't know what's causing it.
Attempts to remove the military and disable jobs didn't stop it.
That leaves me with the moody dwarf, idle behaviour, and things beyond my control.
|Same thing happens to me. I have nobody using daggers. It seems to happen, when you open the squad screen multiple times too close to eachother. As each time I have crashed when opening the squad menu, I had just recently used it. But it is most likely a coinsidence.|

|could it be that your using it across multiple relases i know there were some big changes between .01 and .02 maybe .03 is just forcing that map to give up?|
|By chance do you have a smelter on repeated melting?|
Dekon: He doesn't have any melting jobs.
Death: The squad crashes are unrelated.
bicker x 2: I don't think that's the case, although it's as good a guess as any - I've successfully transferred forts from .31.02 to .31.03 and let them run for years without issues.

I have what seems to be a similar crash occurring. I figured I would post it up on here instead of creating a new one issue.
I am using 31.03 with Genesis mod. My fortress is a year or so in and it's crashing for no apparent reason. If you want to reproduce, I'm attacking my save. The crash occurs maybe 30 seconds after game load and I can't seem to find a way to get around it. I have tried removing all my squads, canceling all jobs, moving dwarves to a tiny room so they can't do anything, etc. There is nothing being melted, and nothing out of the ordinary seems to be occurring.
I'm running windows 7 64 bit.

|Alright, I've figured this out as another hospital crash. If I dump a ton of water on your hospital, it interrupts your medical dwarves and the game continues as normal for a while.|

There is a surgery going on in a hospital; presumably when it completes, DF crashes. This happens in 20-30 seconds.
Running Windows XP64.
Save file is from .04.
Few minor raws mods in place - no attribute rusting, warthog trade load limit, [PET] warthogs.

Forbidding the bar of mountain goat soap used in the clean patient job prevents the crash in the original report's savegame.

edit: Kumquat's savegame is also kept from crashing for at least a while if you forbid the bar of soap in the chief medical dwarf's inventory before he does his Clean Patient job.

|I fixed the save from 0001828 that had the small bar of soap, so going with the small bar located by zergl, I'm going to go ahead and mark this one as resolved for 0.31.06.|
