| Description | If you take a chunk of ice left behind by mining through ice and leave it somewhere to melt, instead of covering the floor with 1/7 depth water as if you'd dumped a bucket of water there, it forms a water object which doesn't leave behind any mud. | ||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Embark on a glacier. 2) Dig down to the stone layer using ramps. 3) Designate a garbage dump in a Z level which is made of stone. 4) Designate the chunks of ice for dumping. 5) Wait for the dumped ice to melt. | ||||||||||

I might add that I did all that on my own to get some mud, but none of the dwarves actually went to dump the ice so I was going to report that ice dumping might be broken. It seems that it wasn't. |

Additionally, walls of ice don't seem to melt any more. Thus, the good old method "build an ice wall @ wait for spring" to get mud is no more. |
