Summary | 0008105: Dwarves unable to clean "pool of water" left by a Forgotten Beast
Description | So I killed a Forgotten Beast made of water, which left pools of water as remnants. Dwarves will try to clean the puddles periodically but fail. There is no error message, they just clean for a bit and yet the puddles remain. I think this might be because the puddle is labelled only as "pool of water" instead of "WateryBeasts pool/puddle of water", because every other (named) fluid the other beasts have left have been cleaned properly.

How do you know that pool is from the FB, if it's different from all the others? |

I know the spot where it died for one. Watched as my marksdwarves shot it to puddles. Secondly some parts of it were not water, but something solid (head I recall, didn't check other body parts) that I assigned to be dumped. Since I got something else going on on a different dump pile (I periodically haul remains etc. to dwarven atom smasher dump to get permanently rid of some clutter) I deactivated that designated dump spot. Dwarves that were hauling these body parts immediately dropped the remains which then turned into these "pools of water". The pools do not spread, but I can't tell if dwarves walking over it get spatters on themselves because well.. they are always covered in water for running outside in the rain. |
