DescriptionWaiting/sleeping in vaults resets them, respawning every denizen and closing every gate, getting trapped if you wait behind them
Steps To Reproduce1. Find a vault
2. Enter and kill a few denizens
3. Sleep/wait for a few hours (even one hour can work)

You should be able to jump through the gates. Heard someone was able to do that and I was able to as well.

Anyway, it's related to 0007940 since I've observed the exact same bug there. The situation is more complex with Dark Towers, but the root cause is the same, sleeping/waiting causes things to respawn and rearrange.

Could you post a save up on DFFD and link it here?

Also, have you noticed any other oddities like corpses or items in walls and did the layout change?

No layout changes in vaults, and as I noticed every denizen spawns where they originally were.

Sounds like the exact opposite of 0007514 (which I personally experienced)

Speaking of 0007514 (which incidentially, is also a report that I made), I haven't tested if that still happens in 40.10.

However, sleeping/waiting briefly offloads the site, right? So, this one, 0007514, and 0007940 are linked to some sort of bug involving the offloading of the sites.

Maybe they are all linked to the same cause, maybe not, just a theory.

I encountered this issue as well. However, I got around it by retiring, and I was surprised I could retire my adventurer at a vault.

When I resumed him, he spawned outside, on the ROOF somehow.

This is still an issue as of 42.06. Sleeping/waiting for even one hour resets vaults, making it possible to get trapped behind previously opened bars.
