0008225: If I go near this spot the game crashes

Description

I have a save presently where if I T)ravel two to five squares northwest from the present location coming out of a fortress, then press d to stop, the game crashes. I have gotten the same crash six times and never managed to see this spot outside of travel mode. It is possible to get the same crash by going 32 squares northwest on foot. There are two asterisks near the area with the crash. Going south does not cause a crash at least in several tries. I have set aside a copy of my region6 save file (20.1 MB) which causes this crash; I don't see a way to upload it.
