Summary0008427: Sudden loyalty cascade in adv mode fort depot initiated by a giant mole's 'attack' on me
DescriptionOkay, I'm not sure what is going on here, but when I went up to surface and tried to enter the depot, I got a message saying that the target (which I never defined, or expected hostiles) moved out of range, then I pressed '.' and all heck broke loose.

Looking at the events list (both in the quest screen and 'bring up specific rumor/incident), apparently a giant mole 'attacked' me a few minutes ago (it never physically attacked me) and then some of the dwarves 'attacked' me. Not sure if my accidential attack triggered it to break out or if it would have anyway if I didn't. The last entry in the quest log for events also says about an insurrection, but it seems too spontaneous to be an insurrection?
Steps To ReproduceNot sure exactly, get 'attacked' by some random cave critter?

Likely connected to the suite of issues that is 0007161 and I did mention a similar event http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=7161#c30102 [^]

Also, when I walk around, other people that see me get alarmed about a battle and then become hostile and start attacking me.

Seems to be the very definition of loyalty cascade.

Edit: Did a quick retire and unretire to see what happened and everything seems to have been forgiven. They still occasionally say about an insurrection.

Also, after the two week retire/unretire, the dwarves which attacked each other are reporting that 'they attacked x' or 'x attacked y' a few minutes ago or a few hours ago, though it seems to be correcting itself to weeks.

Since this bug observation is likely connected to the event chain that spiraled off of this initial report, I'm posting this here as well as 0006708 and 0007216

Here's an instance of subterranean critters (all recruits) spawning on the surface. I tested this with DFhack inert and it's associated with a spam of "no layer area available for historical figure" errors in the errorlog.

Option 1: Go to travel mode, move a space east or west, move back and then go south, you'll get ambushed every time. This way 100% reliably reproduces it.

Option 2: Walk far enough for the site to offload and then come back. Not sure if it's 100% reproducible, there were a few times that I didn't see any critters, but the error spam was there.

Okay, after a while, things apparently calmed down on their own, so, maybe it is an insurrection that is just behaving strangely? Impossible for me to tell for sure what is going on and the insurrection (which I did NOT initiate) seems to have started in a strange way.
