Summary0009286: Fistfights don't count as crimes
DescriptionI'm not sure if this is a bug, but I'm going to report it anyways.

Dwarves occasionally start fistfights after arguments, which is fine and intended. However, these fights, unlike tantrums, don't count as crimes and don't appear on the Justice screen. Dwarves tend to get injured, sometimes quite badly. They seem to enjoy it, though.
Steps To Reproduce1. Have dwarves prone to starting fights
2. Wait for them to talk to each other and argue about differing values
3. A fistfight occurs
4. Check the Justice screen, nothing there

Can confirm that this happens. I've actually had a couple instances of it.

There are already some other similar reports (like 0009322) so this should get confirmed and linked to them next time manager goes around. Give them bit more time, with the new version there was a <s>cat</s>bugreportsplosion.

Hnnng. Had my first barroom brawl gone awry thanks to this bug, recently.

Now I kinda wish we could inflict dystopian arbitrary punishments at will.

I had this happen in my world. It ended in a death and 9 injuries

I talked about this here, but fistfights have their own set of 'rules', no weapons, and whoever is beaten onto a pulp onto the floor first ends the fight irregardless and left alone by other dwarves.

If this specific interaction of being in a heap on the floor having lost the fight is not logged by the crime screen, then i can imagine its just the justice screen showing its age since it was made before the new fight escalation mechanic was produced.

Also in the linked comment, any creature at all (undead, large predator creature etc.) can start a fistfight with a civilian using paws and wrestling, but always act hostile to a armed or lethal escalation opponent (which are logged properly for justice)

Fistfights shouldn't be illegal IMO!
