Summary0009315: Raised corpses attack resident necromancers
DescriptionMy fortress has a large population of necromancers. In combat situations, they will use their ability to raise corpses and bodyparts to undeath. These undead critters then immediately attack the necromancers who raised them (and anybody else, for that matter).
Steps To Reproduce1. In adventure mode, deliver a book containing the secrets of life and death to the library of a retired fortress
2. Unretire the fortress and wait for the dwarves to reshelve the book and start reading it
3. Once you have some necromancers, put them into a military squad
4. Wait until there are multiple potential enemies on the map (such as a herd of wild boar) and order the squad to attack
5. After the first critter is killed, but the other critters are still in sight, a necromancer will raise the corpse of the first downed critter
6. Fun ensues as the critter corpse attacks its mastesr

Sounds like a return of 0006663, "Necromancers afraid of/killed by their own undead".

EDIT: Or, if you have really used just one necrobook for more people, it is actually more similar to 0008675, "Zombies attack retired necromancer when another adventurer reads their slab"

This bug, and the dedication required to achieve it, is beautiful. Thriggle, a save would be immensely useful - do you have one, perchance? Upload it to http://dffd.bay12games.com/ [^]

This seems great. Can you try and let only one dwarf read it (maybe with a burrow)? Then let him raise corpses, and let another dwarf read it. That may confirm that it is related to 0008675.

In 0.44.03, it seems that they are only hostile to *military* necromancers.

Civilian and inactive necromancers seem to be able to peacefully coexist with the undead for long periods of time, but as soon as I give a necromancer a military order (even just "move"), the undead attack him.
