0010861: Illegal lethal biting move during a justice beating mortally wounds victim
The captain of the guard during a brawl to dispense a bruising only beating lethally tore out the tantrumming target's throat, then resumed duty exhilarated about the beating afterwards, leaving the dwarf to die with a broken throat artery and bleeding where it lay.

Note: apologies for no save with a lot of activity in my fortress it didn't occur to me until later when it would have probably not have been much use. I have a exerpt of my game log in additional information and can submit my intact game log later that i've preserved.
To reproduce: Run fortress with stressed dwarves, equip the captain of the guard (once availible) or any fortress guards lightly with training axes/swords appropriate to thier skills.

When a crime is reported by a dwarf over ilegal activities like fistfights & assaulting animals to be convicted by the player in the justice screen watch the guards for biting maneuvers.

To save time since this is not easy to test, use of development tools to force a conviction should make it easier or modifying the captain of the guard to be less restrictive.
From gamelog: The captain of the guard punches the cook in the left hand with her left hand, bruising the bone through the x(alpaca wool left mitten)x!

No weapon was involved in the fight because the civilian cook having a tantrum was unarmed. Also the cook was only bruised up by the guard until,

The captain of the guard bites the cook in the throat, tearing it through the X(pig tail cloak)X!(and relevant latching)

The cook fell down with their mortal wound and the brawl ended as all brawl fights do.

Busy recently finally got round to uploading my game log (( http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=13985 [^] )) which should hopefully clear up and make the situation have more clarity.

New save, my captain of the guard incapacitated another dwarf potentially lethally using illegal moves again (this report needs to be consolidated into a fortress guard violence report) He was punching up the dwarf normally for their beating until the targeted a single toe with such force the entire foot exploded with the torque of pulling, ripped the skin, bruised to the bone and became a mangled mess.

They should not be able to hit anything but the core head/torso/limb joints wide enough to sustain bruising due to vunerabilities like this, else the intended bruising without weapons isn't as effective.

I wasn't aware of this previously, but all of the affected body parts are listed under [SMALL], which this url link to the public DF wiki would insinuate is a legacy token that is also instrumental for torture, linked to justice.

(( http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Body_token#SMALL [^] ))

If this is the causation for these incidents, a ideal method-test would be to isolate a particular [SMALL] part and monitor the selectivity of fortress guards in choosing their targets and applying force.
