0001655: Demons always path to top levels of tube
If the tube if pierced near the base, the demons will path instead to the top of the tube rather than out of it. I have 5 pages of demons who are all within the top 3 z-levels of the tube.
Breach the tube close to it's base.

It might be helpful to upload a save demonstrating the problem to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^]

I suspect this is related to 0001319.

This one is related to the exploration code for them, which tries to get them to look for the higher areas of your fort instead of messing around in the underworld or taxing the pathing code. Ideally, they'd check out the top and then move back down (since it tracks where they've been). A save would be useful, although hopefully I'd be able to get it to happen without one.

The pathcalculation for them is somewhat buggered, if i blocktheir tunnels before they get out they will take 80-90% of fps i had before breaching the tube. This is rather annoying, as my dwarfs are not entirely keen living with the new pets.

Do you need a save of this ?

Yes, a save would be useful. You can upload to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^]
