0002735: strangely long save folder names
With autosave and autobackup enabled, I get long folder names like e.g. "region2-win-1051-spr-spr-1054".

User error - you're loading a seasonal backup instead of your original save.

Yea, I tend to agree with Quietust - looks like you loaded a seasonal backup, played it for a few years (generating more seasonal backups) and then looked at those saves - which would have double date notifiers, as your description has.

Does this describe your experience?

Yes, it seems that I did that. My fault.
Maybe it might still be a good idea to generate the folder names just from region name and time stamp, so you would get useful folder names even if you have to use the backups, eg. the original save got corrupted after DF crashed while saving.

Unfortunately, for now this is expected behaviour. If you believe the current functionality should be changed as per your note, I suggest you make a thread on the suggestions forum - currently we're only tracking bugs here, not suggestions.
