0003911: Message spam: Urist McDwarf cancels Handle Large Creature: Animal inaccessible.

Massive message spam:

K–buk AtŒsnakas, Tanner cancels Store Item in Bin: Handling dangerous creature.
K–buk AtŒsnakas, Tanner cancels Handle Large Creature: Animal inaccessible.

I got about 10000 lines (no kidding, either; I checked the log file) of this in a few moments. The message bar was a total mess of flicker.

Very bad luck, I suppose:

Confine population into a burrow while having 'cage large creature' jobs going. It takes quite precise timing: creatures in cages are not apparently considered to be inside a burrow.

Apparently the dwarf cannot do anything until finishing whatever animal handling he was doing, but he cannot finish the animal handling job because the animal is out of burrow. This spams a cancellation message on every tick.

Situation is persisting after save + load.

Only modding is [PET_EXOTIC] -> [PET].

Was the Tanner milking an animal? Was the animal slated for butchering? Was the animal accessible to the tanner? Was the cage/rope that the animal assigned to dismantled/moved?

No, no, not sure but apparently not (all meeting areas are in said burrow but not all underground corridors), no.

Disabling burrow restriction stops spammage.
