0004320: Dwarves come to hospital to Rest without injuries (and also endless tooth surgery)
After some accidents in the Danger Room, some dwarves got treated okay (a smashed finger) but others show no wounds in their sidebar, nor the thoughts screen and their healthcare sheet is clean. Despite this, they Rest in the hospital.

Also, one dwarf has a missing tooth. The surgeon operates on him repeatedly, but it doesn't help.

I think this happened to me too. A hunter was lifted on the traction bench, and.. that's that. He rested in the hospital without any injuries, got lifted on the TB, and left. That's all his health history shows.

Did these dwarves possibly have wounds that healed ultra-quick as per 0000697?

I don't know. I only noticed that they shouldn't be in the hospital because I have a habit of overseeing medical procedures to ensure they are effective.

Were there any dwarves for which a fast-healing injury wouldn't explain the problem? That is, were there any dwarves that were resting despite having never been in combat or accidents?

I'm just having this exact same problem. I have a few dwarfs that got into a fight with cattle and stuff. So I designate an hospital area. Immediately, 60% of my dwarves, injured or not, all decide to go to the lower left corner tile of the hospital and "Rest" forever. Including the diagnosers, who are in perfect health, and nothing gets done anymore.

I have had this problem.

Two of my dwarves got into tangle with Badgers. However they only got bruising, and even that much does not show in either the wounds nor the health screen. The doctor has tried everything from wound dressing, to applying casts on dwarves who are resting with no visibly wounds.
It is a little annoying

Footkerchief: I don't think fast-healing would explain this, unless it also removed the Diagnosis Required note from the medical screen. I *think* all of these guys were on Danger Room duty before checking into the hospital.

EDIT: All except the missing-tooth guy are military.

I got everybody to snap out of it in the provided save. There were some lingering flags, and I put in an extra daily check for them.
