0004718: Axe lord kills everyone in his path, without being tantruming ...
Just search for Sarvesh Rabedkubuk (grand master axedwarf as he just woke up from sleeping after a siege, but previously axelord) and see him slaughter everyone in his path as he is "going to a biting demonstration" ...

This dwarf was one of my best in the Millitia, and has gone crazy after the slaughter of a human siege.

This looks very much like a loyalty cascade (0003259). The first dwarf killed by Sarvesh, Zuglar Avuzrash, apparently attacked the king prior to being killed, marking him an enemy of your civ, but still a member. Then Sarvesh attacked the enemy, but since the attacked party was a member of your civ, Sarvesh becomes an enemy (etcetera). You mentioned on the DFFD page that your king was a tame human. This, along with the human siege you mention, could mean that you accidentally marked the king as a target for your military along with other, hostile, humans. Being able to target your king would then probably the main bug here.

thanks for the explaination, it can indeed be a loyalty cascade problem as you say :-).
But i think i could not assign the king as a target for my military (tamed beast).

The chain of events can be traced with the combat reports, individual histories/kills and Legends mode. The axedwarf is an enemy/former member of his own civ.

Be careful when placing rectangle kill orders.

For the king being human part, please see 0004692.
