0005047: Sleep in building/house; wake up outside or on roof
When you sleep in a city building, you'll wake up outside. At least, this is what I've experienced twice already now, in a single adventure game.

I think it's because the buildings are part of the unwalkable tiles of the city map, so it boots you out into the wilderness the next time it checks... which is when you wake up.
Go to a big city, ask one of the npcs in a building to let you sleep there, and go to sleep.

This sounds a lot like 0003544. Are you booted right out of the city, or do you stay in the city, but outside the buildings?

I encountered this as well. I went to sleep inside of a house in a hamlet without asking permission first. I got the usual "can I help you" dialog, and then asked permission. I slept until dawn and woke up on the roof. Rude!

I'm booted right out of the city. Not on the roof, not out the door.. right out of the city. On another genned world, it didn't happen anymore. The world it did happen in is now in fortress mode instead of adventurer mode, so I'm not sure if a save would be useful.

My adventurer can confirm this. I woke up on a two-story building (which MIGHT be the same one I slept in, not sure) and... well... broken leg with no crutch in sight and bruised throat. Oh well, at least it healed in a day.

I've also had it earlier on another adventurer who slept in a doorway and got teleported away from all nearby buildings.

I can confirm as well: go to sleep inside, wake up on roof.

I had a similar thing happen... Went to sleep in a house in a Hamlet (asked first), woke up on the roof.

To make things worse, bogeymen attacked the Hamlet while I was up there and killed some Humans (I suppose being on the roof counts as sleeping outdoors).

Confirmed. Slept in a building, woke up on the roof. Slept outside of the keep, woke up in the courtyard.

Confirmed again, Woke up in the roof, no way down except to splatter myself.
Only happens with "sleep till dawn"
I had permission to sleep there.
The bug appears to have moved me up 1 level about about 10-15 squares SW.

I can also confirm this. I had asked for permission, stepped outside, then came back in and slept. Jumping down from the roof messed me up pretty bad, but once I was able to grab my sword and shield and crawl back into a house between bouts of unconsciousness, and sleep it off, I was just fine. My only injury was my previously injured ear.

It seems to happen to me fairly regularly. I asked for permission, went to sleep for 8 hours and woke up on the roof with all my companions. Went back to sleep to see if I woke up inside, and was awakened surrounded by boogymen, still on the roof, and my companions were on the ground level. After taking a few wounds from the boogymen and then more bruising from jumping off the roof the towns people were able to save me. I then went back to sleep, was awakened by a resident, asked permission, and woke up again on the roof. I switched into travel mode to get down this time to avoid bruising.

This'll be fixed for 0.34.05, but if you have a save and the first thing you do is sleep, it might still have some bad info. Just move a bit and it will hopefully clear up for all time.
